Request an appeal: NEXUS program

If your NEXUS application has been rejected or your membership has been cancelled, you may request a review of this decision.

Appeal to the Canada Border Services Agency

If the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) rejects your application or cancels your membership, you may request a review of our decision.

You must submit your request within 90 days of the rejection or cancellation becoming effective. If you are notified in person, it is effective immediately. If you are notified by mail, it is effective 15 days after the notice is mailed to you.

Appeal to U.S. Customs and Border Protection

If U.S. Customs and Border Protection rejects your application or cancels your membership, you may request a review of the decision by the U.S. ombudsman through the Trusted Traveler Programs System.
