Commercial and Trade Industry Forum

The Commercial and Trade Industry Forum (CTIF) connects the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) with industry stakeholders and government partners. We use this forum to engage with commercial and trade industry leaders early and often about policies, programs or systems that impact businesses.

Our mandate

The CBSA is committed to working with stakeholders on its plans and priorities, operational programs, business systems and administrative procedures. By joining the forum, members help us find practical ways to make the border more secure and efficient.

We select board members based on:

  • their interest in becoming a Consultative Board member
  • the need to represent a balance of business types, industry, and sectors
