Certain Carbon Steel Pipe Fittings

Ottawa, August 3, 2010

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has today revised the schedule concerning the re-investigation of certain carbon steel pipe nipples and adaptor fittings, in nominal diameters up to and including 6 inches and the metric equivalents, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, pursuant to the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA).

Please note that the re-investigation will now be concluded on September 10, 2010. The advancement of the conclusion date has affected other deadlines within the proceeding. The revised schedule can be found on the CBSA’s website under the heading Carbon Steel Pipe Fittings at http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sima-lmsi/ri-re/menu-eng.html.
