Detailed product description required for purposes of contravention C 223 and C 224 for the CITT injury finding dated January 9, 2004, for certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy plate originating in or exported from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Romania.
INFORMATION REQUIRED ON CUSTOMS DOCUMENTS

The invoice should clearly indicate the following information. Failure to provide this information to the CBSA will result in the normal value being determined by advancing the export price of the subject goods by 74.6 percent. Failure to provide this information may also result in the application of penalties to the importer, pursuant to the Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS).
The import documentation should clearly indicate the following:
- name and address of producer/manufacturer
- name and address of vendor (if different from producer)
- customer's name and address
- Canadian importer's name and address (If different from the customer)
- full product description including:
- product specification (e.g., ASTM A36);
- grade (e.g., GR. 40);
- dimensions (e.g., thickness, width);
- whether cut-to-length (specify length) or coil;
- carbon equivalent; and
- whether mill plate, plate for use in manufacturing pipe (skelp) or floor plate.
- date of sale, date of shipment
- quantity (and unit of measure)
- unit selling price, total selling price
- currency of settlement used (e.g., US$, CDN$, etc.)
- terms and conditions of sale (e.g., FOB, CIF, etc.)
- all costs, expenses, and charges incurred by the exporter and vendor in the shipment of the subject goods to Canada from the point of direct shipment (includes inland and ocean freight, insurance, etc.).
