November 13 , 2008
On November 12, 2008, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, pursuant to subsection 76.03(3) of the Special Import Measures Act, initiated an expiry review of its findings made on December 23, 2003, in Inquiry No. NQ‑2004‑001, concerning the dumping of certain stainless steel wire originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea, Switzerland and the United States of America, and the subsidizing of such product originating in or exported from India.
As a result, the President of the Canada Border Services Agency initiated an investigation on November 13, 2008, to determine whether the expiry of the finding is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and/or subsidizing of the goods.
