Highway Sufferance Warehouse Closure (Sommerville (Hartland), NB)
1. The purpose of this notice is to advise that, effective August 28, 2009, Day & Ross Incorporated, located at 14582 Trans Canada Highway, Sommerville (Hartland), NB will be surrendering their highway sufferance warehouse licence. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has decided not to advertise for a new highway sufferance warehouse at this port.
2. Therefore, as of August 29, 2009, all bonded highway carriers transporting in-bond commercial freight destined for clearance at the Sommerville (Hartland), NB port should report to an alternate highway sufferance warehouse.
