It has been manufactured for use in noxious atmospheres, providing protection against a wide range of hazardous chemicals in liquid, vapour, gas and solid forms. This garment meets the technical requirements of heading 62.10 of the Harmonized System for “garments, made up of fabrics of heading 56.02, 56.03, 59.03, 59.06 or 59.07”. Within that heading, subheading 6210.40 covers “other men’s or boys’ garments”. Tariff item 6210.40.10 provides for “protective suits, to be employed in a noxious atmosphere”.
