This is a dietary supplement containing refined yeast powder, dietary fibre as galactomannan, fructo-oligosaccharides, beta cyclodextrin, erythritol, lemon juice powder, canola oil and lactic acid bacteria. It is recommended for maintenance of daily health and to help address the digestion of those whose normal meals tend to be irregular and off-balance.

Note 1 to Chapter 30 of the Harmonized System excludes “foods or beverages (such as dietetic, diabetic or fortified foods, food supplements, tonic beverages and mineral waters), other than nutritional preparations for intravenous administration (Section IV)”. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and must therefore be excluded from Chapter 30. Explanatory Note (16) to heading 21.06 describes “preparations, often referred to as food supplements, based on extracts from plants, fruit concentrates, honey, fructose, etc. and containing added vitamins and sometimes minute quantities of iron compounds. These preparations are often put up in packagings with indications that they maintain general health or well-being. Similar preparations, however, intended for the prevention or treatment of diseases or ailments are excluded (heading 30.03 or 30.04)”.

In accordance with General Interpretative Rule 1 of the Harmonized System, the food supplement is classified under classification number 2106.90.99.99 of the Customs Tariff.
