Description
This is a black (dyed) single weft-knit fabric knit with synthetic (nylon) filament yarns and elastomeric (polyurethane) yarns. The nylon yarns represent 89% of the fabric and the elastomeric yarns 11%.
Analysis and Justification
This fabric meets the technical requirements of subheading 6004.10 of the Harmonized System, which covers “knitted or crocheted fabrics of a width exceeding 30 cm, containing by weight 5% or more of elastomeric yarn or rubber thread, other than those of heading 60.01: containing by weight 5% or more of elastomeric yarn but not containing rubber thread”.
Decision
In accordance with General Interpretative Rule 1 of the Harmonized System, the knitted fabric is classified under classification number 6004.10.90.90 of the Customs Tariff.
