Annex A

All Security incidents involving CBSA personnel and assets are promptly reported and appropriate action taken.  For information purposes, we have highlighted those incidents of a critical nature.

Security Incident Categories

Assault
Any form of assault defined in the Criminal Code. Includes physical assaults committed by clients or employees as well as sexual assault.
Threat Bodily Harm
Threats directed towards employees of CBSA from either clients or other employees.
Bomb Threat
A threat made by an individual that a bomb (letter, phone, package) is currently at a facility or will be. Threat made directly towards CBSA or another tenant within facility.
Suspicious Package
Receipt or report of a suspicious package found unattended within a facility, received by an employee (Postal Unit) and for which no ownership is taken or content cannot be determined.
